Landscape Site Supervisor

 

 

My client is one of the most prestigious landscape design and maintenance companies operating out of Auckland, New Zealand. Their client base is highly confidential to an outsider such as myself but believe me you will be working on some of the most exquisite residential properties in Auckland.

We are now exclusively recruiting a Landscape Site Supervisor/ Team Leader to work with the team managing high end residential properties.

 
Your day to day will include (but is not limited to) the following:

 
• Site supervision and management-max 4 team members
• Plan interpretation/Onsite measuring
• Purchasing and collecting product
• Irrigation work
• Tree pruning and felling
• Excavation, digging, drainage, shifting and raking of soils etc
• Soft landscaping and Hard landscaping
• Spraying herbicides, pesticides, fungicides etc
• Plant and weed ID
• Planting preparation and planting of shrubs, trees, palms etc
• Lawn mowing, weed eating and turf culture
• Lawn preparation and laying
• Blowing, sweeping and collecting leaves
• Hedge trimming and topiary
• Heavy lifting
• Weeding

 

To be successful in the role you must:


• Hold a relevant qualification
• Have Grow Safe Certificate
• Hold a clean drivers license and  HT license
• Have good people skills with a passion to manage the staff (max 4) and sites to a high standard
• Hold a high level of discretion, security, and appreciate client confidentiality is paramount
• Have a responsible and respectful approach to tools, equipment and property, both ours and our clients
• Have knowledge of how to operate power tools correctly and safely
• Excellent English communication skills- both verbal and written
• Good time keeping, management and organisational skills
• Be enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and approachable
• Take pride in you work and ensure the finished result is second to none
• Be presentable and passionate about their job
• Be prepared to work in all the types of weather
• Be looking to further their career
• Be articulate with a good eye for detail

 

Your hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.


The salary will be between $41,500.00 - $45,700.00 annual wage initially (depending on experience), which can increase dependant on performance and longevity within the company. 


All staff members are provided with full livery, wet weather gear, safety footwear, gumboots, safety gear and a daily petrol allowance and phone credits.

My client has a busy and well established (30 years young) West Auckland Hair Salon. She is  looking for a creative and down to earth Senior Stylist to come on board and join the team. After 8.5 years my Senior Stylist is moving South.
