What are the benefits of working with you as opposed to doing it all myself?
Time is money, and recruitment takes up a lot of time, especially for those that are not familiar with recruiting staff and the various resources available these days. Sifting through CVs, and answering phone calls and emails once you have finally decided on a catchy yet informative advertisement can take hours. What industries do you specialise in?
We are a Generalist Agency, therefore we are happy to recruit any roles across all industries. In the past we have recruited Engineers, CAD Operators, Cabinetmakers, Retail Sales people, Administrators, Data Entry Operators, Truck Drivers, and the list goes on. Do you charge for advertising with you?

Yes we do charge for advertising onto your preferred site, however once we have placed the role for you we deduct the cost of the advertisement off the placement fee. We will always geta  quote for you before placing advertising. Please see our Terms Of Trading.

What screening do you do?
Because we like to get it right the first time we have a number of “filters” or “knock out factors” we use throughout the recruitment process. This is to ensure we get the best possible candidate for you and your business. Once we have finished the interview with the candidate they would have already been through 4 different filters before we even send their details onto you!! The screening begins from the early stages when the candidate applies for a vacancy and the final filter is the reference checking and any other requested testing at the end. The high level of screening ensures we do not waste your time, our time, and the candidate’s time as we appreciate how time consuming the process can be for all parties involved. Is there a process you follow?

How do you get to know what I am looking for when I do contact you for help?
We will come out and meet with you on site (or wherever is best for you) to meet you, see the environment, and get a job description and also a very comprehensive job profile from you. This covers off everything we need to know about the role, the person required, and the package available. Because we gain so much information regarding the role in the beginning it saves time throughout the process as we do not need to ask you as many questions. The Job Profile has been specifically designed by Recruit NZ to ensure we gain as much information as possible from our clients to recruit the most suitable person for the role.

Will you work with our internal HR person?

Yes of course, we have great relationships with all of our clients, a lot of which are HR Managers and Advisors. We like to work alongside your business whether it is with the HR Advisor or the Financial Controller. We always like to come out and put a face to the name and grab a coffee to get to know the person we are working alongside. We also always encourage open and honest communication; we would rather have you be honest and upfront with us than not tell us what you really want!!

Will you do international recruitment?
Yes, we have done that in the past and are happy to organise everything from toll calls, video conferencing, and immigration liaison.
