Sales Representative – Central North Territory
The Company: This well-established family owned wholesaling company prides themselves on being a market leader in homewares. They have an exciting and evolving product range and sell their products through the country’s leading retailers. They are looking for an energetic Sales Rep to join their established team.
The Role: With a head office in Warkworth, this sales role is a combination of Business Development and Account Management – hunting for new business opportunities and growing and enhancing existing business relationships. Working with a support team, your focus will be to close the deal! You will be expected to be in Warkworth 1 or 2 days a fortnight to connect with the sales and management teams. Regular travel throughout Waikato and the central North Island with occasional travel further across NZ will keep you busy!
An interest in homewares is helpful, but what this business is looking for is a high amount of energy and enthusiasm, determination, professionalism, and proven success in a sales role, preferably within a territory management role.
Above all, you will be a high achieving sales focused professional who thrives covering a large territory.
- Proven success in a sales role, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- A consultative sales approach
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Hunter mentality and confidence to close
- Self- motivated and self-managing
- Professionalism, a desire to continually improve and work at a high standard
